Under capitalism, we sometimes devoted ourselves to work or job or career and things that we do in order to earn and sustain our living. After graduating in 2016, I have worked mostly in non-profit organisations and volunteered for small collectives and organizing committee. A lot of these places and communities were harmful to me, in different face of workers abuse, discrimination, harassment and lack of aftercare after a threatening situation.
Most of us has left our working environment with a certain capacity, skills, that we got unintentionally trained while we were working. Perhaps we don’t see it yet, and now it’s time to open yourself is what you can offer to the world as your labour of love? While Jupiter is in Taurus, we see a lot of conversations about striking and unionising, quiet quitting and prioritising rest over working. This is a positive transformation — and I totally support people fighting for their rights to be treated and paid fairly, if not more as compensation to live in traumatising and disabling environment.
